Don Cole – CFO

Don is Chief Financial Officer of Alliance Partners. From 2009 to 2011, Don served as Chief Financial Officer of CapitalSource. From 2003 to 2009, Don served in various senior management positions at CapitalSource including Chief Operations Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Information Officer. Don received his undergraduate degree and Masters of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his law degree from the University of Virginia. Don is a Certified Public Accountant.

Doug Hollowell – General Counsel

Doug is a Managing Director and the General Counsel of Alliance Partners. From 2008 to 2010, Doug served as the General Counsel and Head of Depository Strategy of Tygris Commercial Finance Inc. From 2005 to 2008, Doug was Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley Bank and of Morgan Stanley Trust, two insured depositories wholly-owned by Morgan Stanley. From 1999 to 2005, Doug held a number legal positions at Merrill Lynch, including as General Counsel of Merrill Lynch Bank USA and of Merrill Lynch Capital. Doug received undergraduate and graduate Degrees from the University of Minnesota and his law degree from Syracuse University.

Joe Kenary – Assets

Joseph A. Kenary, Jr. is a Managing Director of Alliance Partners. He is principally responsible for the asset selection and allocation and underwriting processes for BancAlliance. Prior to joining Alliance Partners, he was one of the founding employees of CapitalSource, where he wrote the business plan and subsequently organized, built and managed the Leveraged Finance business of CapitalSource, the NYSE-listed parent of CapitalSource Bank. He received his BA from Harvard College and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Mario Shaffer – Financial Institutions

Mario is a Managing Director of Alliance Partners. He is responsible for developing and managing client bank relationships. Prior to joining Alliance Partners, he was with Barclays where he was responsible for delivering the bank’s services to private companies, financial sponsors and family offices. Mario was with FBR Capital Markets (NASDAQ: FBRC) where he managed the financial sponsors group and was Managing Partner of FBR Venture Capital Management. He has held executive positions with several successful software and Internet companies earlier in his career. He received his BA from The College of William & Mary.

Vince Twomey – Chief Credit Officer

Vince is a Managing Director and Chief Credit Officer of Alliance Partners. From 2006 to 2010, Vince served as a Managing Director for CapitalSource, most recently as a Credit Officer for CapitalSource Bank. From 2000 to 2006, Vince held various positions at CapitalSource including Chief Underwriting Officer and Senior Investment Officer. From 1996 to 2000, Vince was with Fleet Capital Corporation, and its predecessor company, Barclays Business Credit, where he was a Senior Vice President responsible for Underwriting and Field Examination for the Northeast Region. From 1990 to 1996 Vince held a number of underwriting and credit positions at Fleet Capital. Vince received an undergraduate degree in accounting from St. Joseph's University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
